Fluxes

In the process of Fe ore, the method of separation of molten iron and slag is very important. The easiest route is using fluxes and the common one being limestone. Fluxes helps with the formation of the slag with low density causing it to float on top of the molten metal and tapped from the different tapping point. The application of fluxes will vary based on the process and the desired metal.
