Introduction

Fe ore is amongst other abundant metals contributing to the global economy from steelmaking, automotives to ferrous casting industries. The metal is found in minerals hematite, martite, magnetite, goethite and limonite with Fe content ranging from 55 to 72%. It also contributes highly to the sales of CaO and MgO (fluxes) and Anthracite coal as they are used as reducing agents in the manufacturing and separation of molten Fe and slag.
